National Carpet Cleaners Association Training Schools
Attendance at this, or an equivalent course, is mandatory for all new applicants for NCCA membership, who must achieve a pass to an appropriate standard in the test that follows to become a full member of the NCCA and to add the coveted logo to their company name.
NCCA Course Dates – 2023
The course is a 3 day program, the 1st day is totally hands on where all delegates get to see & use multiple pieces of equipment. See how each machine cleans or maintains carpet & upholstery. The course includes a multiple-choice examination and is certificated. Each trainee also receives the NCCA’s extensive Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Manual. For further information, including prices, terms and conditions and venue details, please download the course programme and booking form from www.ncca.co.uk or call 01562 547754
Advanced Spot & Stain Treatment and Removal Course
You will learn how to identify the nature of a stain, specific things to look out for and how to advise the client before you start. Stains can be complex and require patience and knowledge of appropriate cleaning solutions. It is important to define what fabric, fibre, dyes and finishing agents have been used to create the soft furnishing being worked upon. You will learn to identify the stain and establish the chemical solution to be applied. The course teaches how to determine the expected results, and not to guarantee that complete removal of a stain will be achieved.
This is a one-day course, held in Kidderminster at the Museum of Carpet. It does not include an examination, however each delegate will receive an attendance certificate, course manual and three spotting tools which can be used on the day and taken home to use again.
